About

Welcome to my site! A bit about me: I am presently a senior software architect at Thermo Fisher Scientific. I have held various R&D and IT roles in industry, and my career has largely focused on algorithm development and cloud software architecture. I have a B.S. in biochemistry from Penn State and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Delaware. My Ph.D. research was in the field of chemometrics, mainly focused on the development of machine learning models for real-time prediction of quality variables in chemical manufacturing processes. A full résumé can be accessed here. Note that this is my personal website, and nothing posted here represents the opinion of any current or past organization that I have been associated with.

This site is mainly a place for me to organize my notes regarding things I'm working on, things I'm reading about, things I'm actively trying to learn, etc. Through the years I've stumbled upon tons of personal blogs and websites in a similar vein that I found helpful, so perhaps someone will find my ramblings of some use, as doubtful as it may be.
